PlatePulse ("the Application") is a restaurant management application that helps hotel and restaurant staff track uneaten food left on the plate after service, so that managers and chefs can review the information and improve kitchen operations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Application. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Application depends on your role (owner, manager, floor staff, or chef) and includes:

• Account & Personal Data: Name, phone number, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form) used to create and log in to owner, manager, staff, and chef accounts. Owners and managers may also provide hotel/restaurant details such as name and location while setting up a property on the Application.
• Operational Data: Information entered while using the Application in the course of restaurant operations, such as dish names, quantities of food left uneaten, table numbers, timestamps, and kitchen instructions or notes exchanged between managers and chefs.
• Derivative Data: Information our servers collect automatically when you use the Application, such as login times and actions taken within the app, used to operate and improve the service.

Use of Your Information

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and reliable experience. Specifically, we may use information collected via the Application to:

• Create and manage your account and your role within a hotel/restaurant.
• Operate the core features of the Application, including logging plate-leftover data and generating reports for managers and owners.
• Enable communication between managers and chefs (e.g. kitchen instructions) within the Application.
• Monitor and analyze usage to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Application.
• Notify you of updates to the Application.
• Respond to your questions, feedback, or support requests.
• Resolve disputes and troubleshoot technical problems.

Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share the information collected through the Application with third parties. Data entered by staff at a given hotel/restaurant is only accessible to the owners, managers, and chefs associated with that hotel/restaurant within the Application.

Security of Your Information

We use administrative and technical measures to help protect your information, including storing passwords in encrypted/hashed form rather than as plain text. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
