ಪ್ರವಚನ ಎಂದರೆ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಕಲ್ಪನೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ "ನಿರೂಪಿಸುವುದು, ಪಠಿಸುವುದು, ಮೌಖಿಕವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸುವುದು, ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಾಗಿದೆ". ಪ್ರವಚನವು ಪುರಾತನ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದು ಬೋಧನಾ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಥವಾ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ವಿಚಾರಗಳ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವುದಾಗಿದೆ.
